Summer Programming Closure
The meeting room will not be available for public use 5/18/2026 through 8/1/2026 due to summer programs. All requests for use will be denied.
The Indianola Public Library provides meeting space for civic, cultural, and educational meetings by the community. The meeting room is 16 x 28 feet and has a maximum seating capacity of 30 people auditorium style or 18 people conference style.
Reservation Rules
- Advanced reservation requests can be made for gatherings of two or more persons.
- For individual use, the meeting room is available on a walk-in basis only.
- Groups are limited to reserving the room twice every seven days, up to two hours each meeting.
- Reservations can be made up to 90 days in advance.
- Should it be necessary to cancel a meeting, notice should be given to the library no less than 24 hours in advance.
- The Community Room is not available during the months of a May, June, and July.
